Can heat lamps be on at night for chameleons?

i have a chameleon. i have 2 bulbs one is a HEAT lamp that is RED, the other is a UVB light. i leave both of them on whole day. i turn the UVB light off when the chameleon is sleeping, is it ok to leave the HEAT lamp at night?
