What is wrong with my female veiled chameleon?

She is around 7-8 months old and about 4 3/4 inches from the tip of her mouth to her vent. I had been spraying her cage 1-2 times daily. She also has a water bowl at the bottom of her cage to add humidity. She was eating fine until now. She hasn't really ate and she has been laying on the floor for the past 24 hours about. I thought she might have to lay eggs so i put in a container of sand mixed with eco earth and i put her in it and she did nothing but lay her. I also was able to hold her which she never would have done before.
