I want to keep my veiled chameleon in a ficus tree?

Right now i just have her in a well ventilated wire cage in my room but i want to move her to a tree. im just not sure how or where to put the required lamps or supply her with water. i was thinking of putting a fountain in the base of the pot but im scared she'll climb down the cord. how do i go about this??
