How do chameleons behave when molting?

I have a baby chameleon. i have noticed lately what looks like little pieces of skin peeling off of her, so i assume she is molting. What i want to know is whether molting can affect a chameleon's eating patterns. she hasn't been eating lately and i hope it's just because she's molting. Anybody know?
